Common Login Issues & How to Fix Them

Sometimes, login may not go as expected. Don't worry — most of these issues are easy to resolve:

Forgot Password

This is the most common issue. Click the "Forgot password?" link on the login page and follow the instructions to reset your password via your registered phone number or email. Make sure you have access to that phone number or email before starting the process. Password reset codes typically arrive within 1 to 2 minutes.

Phone Number or Email Not Recognised

If the system doesn't recognize your login details, you may be using a different email or phone number than the one registered. Try an alternative format — if you originally registered with a phone number, try entering it with the country code (+60) or vice versa. If the issue persists, contact our live chat support for identity verification assistance.

Account Temporarily Locked

For your security, our system will automatically lock your account after several consecutive failed login attempts. This is a standard precaution to protect your account from unauthorized access. Wait a few minutes before trying again, or contact our support team to unlock your account immediately.

OTP Code Not Received

If your 2FA OTP code doesn't arrive as expected, first check that the phone number in your account settings is correct and active. Make sure your device has good network coverage. You can request a new OTP after 60 seconds. If you still haven't received it after several attempts, contact our 24/7 support team.

Best Security Practices When Logging In

Your account security is a shared responsibility between us and you. Here are the best practices we recommend to keep your 1malaysia 6 account safe at all times:

• Never share your account password with anyone — including our support staff. We will never ask for your password through any channel.
• Use a strong, unique password — a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols with at least 10 characters.
• Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) from your account settings. It's a highly effective extra layer of protection.
• Avoid logging in from unsecured public WiFi networks such as those in cafes or shopping malls without using a trusted VPN.
• Always log out of your account when you are done playing, especially when using a shared device.
• Regularly check your recent login activity in your account history to ensure there is no suspicious access.
• If you suspect your account has been accessed without authorisation, change your password immediately and contact our support team.
